Serving the Sunshine Coast
Sunshine Coast conveyancing, wills and elder law
We act for clients right across the Sunshine Coast — from Caloundra and Pelican Waters up through Kawana, Maroochydore and Noosa, and inland to the hinterland. Everything is done electronically, so where you are is rarely a limitation.
Queensland settlements are electronic, and identity verification and signing can be done remotely. That means a Sunshine Coast client in Coolum or Buderim gets the same service as one in Golden Beach, without needing to drive anywhere.
What does not change is the value of local knowledge. We know Sunshine Coast Council's overlays, the difference between a Kawana canal property and a hinterland acreage, and the body corporate schemes that come up again and again along the coastal strip.
Whatever the matter — a purchase, a sale, a will, a probate application or a power of attorney — the fee is fixed and agreed before we start.
What we watch for in the Sunshine Coast
Acreage and hinterland
Rural and semi-rural blocks bring bore and water licences, easements, access, vegetation mapping and sometimes unapproved sheds and dwellings. The standard search set is not enough.
Coastal strip units
From Kings Beach to Mooloolaba and Noosa, body corporate health, remediation levies and letting arrangements drive the real risk in a unit purchase.
Flood, bushfire and coastal overlays
Council overlays affect insurance premiums and what you can build later. We flag them from the searches so there are no surprises.
Remote signing and settlement
Documents can be signed and verified electronically, and settlement happens online. You do not need to be in the same suburb as your lawyer.

Local questions
Do I need to be in Caloundra to use Coastside Law?
No. Settlements in Queensland are electronic and documents can be signed and verified remotely, so we act for clients across the whole Sunshine Coast and beyond.
Do you charge more for properties further away?
No. The fixed fee is the same wherever the property is in South East Queensland. Disbursements vary only because different councils and searches apply.
Can you handle acreage and rural property?
Yes. Acreage needs a wider search set — water, access, easements, vegetation and building approvals — and we scope that at the start rather than discovering it late.
